What is MAPSOSCARY??

MAPSOSCARY officially launched in 2019 on @livelovemaplewood’s Instagram feed by Photographer Jamie Meier. It began as a photo collection of Maplewood and South Orange’s creatively decorated Halloween houses. The people loved it! They asked for more! They decorated for Halloween like never before!!

Why?? Because the residents of Maplewood and South Orange are FUN, CREATIVE, INVENTIVE, and a LITTLE CRAZY (in a GOOD way!!!). A couple years later it became a contest… and YOU started voting for your favorite houses.

Then we added a Google map of houses (so you can tour!), local sponsors, awesome prizes, and more fun!!!
